Dr. Harry Gaffney is a published author, microbiologist and TEDx speaker alumnus.
He has worked in microbiology laboratories, The Royal Flying Doctor Service, and hospitals across many metropolitan, rural, and worldwide locations, including remote islands in the Maldives.
Harry is passionate about and actively involved in several research projects focused on both rural health and pathology.
He is also a pathology and rural health advocate with a country-wide and international media presence. Harry campaigns to improve the rural health workforce, awareness of pathology, and, most importantly, patient health outcomes. He has spoken on podcasts worldwide alongside several key-players in health and pathology including:

In his spare time, Harry loves playing the guitar, reading Robbins Basic Pathology, and spending time with his family and Large Münsterländer dog ‘Lemonade’.
