MEDICAL WORK EXPERIENCE
Conducting research in surgical, clinical, and anatomical pathology, with a special interest in immunohistochemistry and cancer biomarkers. This research aims to improve patient diagnoses and health outcomes.
PUBLIC HEALTH OFFICER
Preventing the spread of COVID-19 by interviewing positive cases to determine who they have been in contact with during their incubation and infectious period. Synthesizing risk assessments for each case, and then presenting them to public health doctors and assisting in action plan decisions to be made in the interest of public health and safety.
Various Podcasting Hosts
To share my passion for medicine, I have contributed to several medical podcasts including: The Flying Doctor Podcast, Destination Medicine Podcast: Australian Government, AHPRA Podcast: Taking Care, People of Pathology Podcast: Rural Medicine and Dispelling Myths About Pathology and Micro Waves: The Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA).
I was a speaker at the annual TEDx event of 2022. Here, I spoke about the power of positive recognition and community. Positive words and support have longstanding benefits to your peers. It also improves your own life satisfaction. So start taking action and tell those around you what you appreciate about them!
